Can you believe 2015 is a mere 9 days away?! My, how time flies! I’m in a bit of sentimental mood as I write this post. 2015 was an interesting year for me. God blessed me richly in several unexpected ways, not least of which is the growth of this little blog of mine and connecting with a community of kind-hearted, like-minded women. I’m SO thankful for each of you and the many undeserved blessings I’ve received this year! Amongst a great deal of good were also many unexpected difficulties – from seemingly endless job hunting to heartbreak to rough late nights spent kicking out blog posts at 3am. Still, I’m thankful for those difficulties too, as I’ve grown closer to Him in those moments than in more peaceful times (James 1:2-4 comes to mind). All in all, 2015 was a challenging but wonderful year. I’m already looking forward to what God has in store for my blogging journey in 2016 – and I hope you’ll join me for every step of the way!
For my final outfit post in 2015, I had to choose an outfit that perfectly captures my personal style: simple, demure, and feminine. This pleated maxi skirt from Zara continues to be one of my favorite items in my closet, so don’t be surprised when it makes several appearances in 2016. If you’re looking for a similar skirt, no worries, I got you:

What a beautiful look to end 2015 on! I love the drama of the long skirt, and the movement photos are so pretty. 2015 was also difficult in many ways for us, but I totally agree, it has brought me closer to Him. Merry Christmas.
