Is it too early to call a favorite outfit for 2016? Because this outfit is a serious contender.

It features my new accessory obsession: the pearl earrings from The Pearl Source. I’ll admit, I typically avoid pearl jewelry because it can look dated and, well, stuffy. But the good people at The Pearl Source offered to let me review their earrings, and I’m so glad they did. I adore them. I tend to favor simple, classy jewelry that can be worn with most of the outfits in my closet, so these earrings are a perfect match. Better yet: they’re only $69 (for REAL pearls, not that fake stuff. I tested it). I now regret avoiding pearls for so many years. If pearls are your thing, you’ll likely love their affordable necklaces and bracelets as well.

I’m also heart-eyes-emoji over this gorgeous red chiffon dress from Azazie. Azazie is an artisan, made-to-measure bridesmaid dress boutique online platform that specializes in custom-made dresses that are beautiful and shockingly affordable. (Yes, this dress is technically a bridesmaid dress). Since each dress is made to order, you can send your measurements and ensure the dresses are made to your modesty requirements. In fact, Azazie has an entire section dedicated to modest styles. Now that’s a company after my heart! What I love most about Azazie is that they’re dedicated to working with family owned dressmakers (no shady sourcing and poorly paid employees!) and providing exceptional dresses at affordable prices. If you’re planning a wedding in the near future, I highly recommend you browse Azazie’s website! But be warned: You’ll likely end up buying dresses for your whole bridal party.

What a lovely dress! So pretty with your pink coat. I just love pink and red together. I almost bought those heels. Seeing them on you is making me kick myself for not doing it!

Awww, thank you, Amy Ann! I’m a HUGE fan of pink and red now. That’ll be my go-to color combination for February. And I was just in Banana today — the shoes are still available and 60% off!

Omg…you are just too gorgeous! I always love your stylings hon and let me just say that I am 100% a total pearl person! I love, love, love pearls and, frankly, can’t get enough of them. $69 is a great price for their earrings.

You looks SO classy! I love that this look doesn’t need a lot of fuss. It’s simple, yet elegant! And I love pearls as well! I’m from the South, and apparently that’s a stereotype, that all Southern women love their pearls lol I don’t know that that’s true, but it’s true for me! lol

Forget bridesmaids…I would wear a dress like that all the time! Also, I’ve always thought that pink and red don’t really go together, but you definitely changed my mind. Wow. Love this combo.

PS: I love pearls! I used to collect them when I was little (I’d go to those stands that sell oysters with pearls inside anytime I saw one. It was always so fun to watch them crack the oyster open and see what color I would get!) So now I have a little pouch of random, loose pearls. Maybe I should make earrings out of them!

Thank you, sweet friend! This outfit changes my mind on pink and red too, actually. I originally planned to wear a tan coat! Haha. And I’m a total believe in pearls now. You should DEF make earrings out of those loose pearls and sell them!
